Having a GPS on your motorcycle opens a new world in your motorcycle riding ways. If before, you dare not tread the open roads because of fear of getting lost, then say goodbye to those fears and hello to more exciting terrains as you try new routes with ease as your GPS would always be there to point you back home. It’s like the modern day bikers’ version of Dorothy’s ruby shoes. Only way cooler.

But the problem with GPS for motorcycles is usually the way you place them on your bike. You can put your GPS in your pocket but you’ll be annoyed at the constant stopovers to pull it out, read then place it back in. In comes GPS motorcycle mounts.

These GPS motorcycle mounts allows you to conveniently place your GPS as you map your way to new places but at the same time make sure they are not ruined if you pass through bumpy ways.

Some GPS motorcycle mounts are inexpensive but the payoff is that it will not protect your unit from any disturbances or vibrations as you ride your bike. They are very cheap and they cost less than $10.

Another type of GPS motorcycle mounts are those that are portable and you can use this mount not only to place this GPS to your bike, you can also place it on your RV, car, truck, etc.

They also are shock resistant and vibrations ready so your GPS will not shut off due to wear and tear. These GPS motorcycle mounts’ shock resistance can also be increased for a price. These are valued at $20 or more depending if you want to add additional shock proofing to it.

From what I hear from those that have tried mounts. RAM mount seems to be the best for a relatively inexpensive price. Touratech is a good mount but is much more expensive.
